The town of Stresa is in a very suggestive position, overlooking Lake Maggiore near the Gulf where there are spectacular Borromean Islands.

In the area
Reachable on foot: restaurants, pizzerias, evening entertainment, snack bars, boutiques and various shops, a supermarket. A public car park is 50 mt away, A pier dock to catch the ferries for the Borromean islands and to any other tourist sight around the Maggiore Lake. A beach well-equipped is 300 mt.

The train station with the international line Geneva–Milan is 1 km away, 6 km within the hills above Stresa are golf courses and both Arona and Verbania are 15 km away.
