In the center of Bassano the cottage "CHIARA" has been lovingly restored a few years ago . The furnished house has 3 bedroom for up to 4 adults and 4 children, it is ideal for a family holiday.
There are two bathrooms - one with shower and one with a bath.
The living room has a fireplace and a television (not satellite).
Also in the kitchen there is an open fireplace, stove with oven, large fridge / freezer and coffee machine.
Outside there is a large lawn and a courtyard. A small simple barbecue.

A public car park is on the Piazza of the village. From here until the house is about 60 m through the quaint, winding, narrow streets. At first it will seem like a maze, but do not worry, you'll find out soon.

The village of Bassano is a fraction of Tronzano. It is located 4 km upstream of the Lake Maggiore on a dead end street, further than Bassano will not be possible to drive. The village is a quaint mountain village of 50 inhabitants, has been expanded in the last years with a number of holiday houses.
Who likes to walk, here is the starting point, trough a old donkey trail, to get to the Monte Bassano and to Lago Delio.

She is german but she loves the lake, in fact she…Christel (Kiki), with me on the first photo below, has been managing houses on the Lake Maggiore for many years, the most are in Pino Lago Maggiore and Tronzano. She is german but she loves the lake, in fact she lives in Italy since she was a teenager but she likes to spend the winter time in Germany, back to her origin. She speaks german, of course good italian, english.
She is famous in the small village of Pino of 200 people who, like it was a tourist information, send all the foreign to her open air office decorated with the flags of all countries of origin of her guests.

She always remember me: "I rent my apartments only weekly!! Ja!" :)

Chiara in Bassano is a huge, historic but restored house, in which has been inserted a lot of love. It is ideal for a family holiday and it offers a huge lawn, where children can play. As well it is situated in the…Chiara in Bassano is a huge, historic but restored house, in which has been inserted a lot of love. It is ideal for a family holiday and it offers a huge lawn, where children can play. As well it is situated in the middle of the village, where you cannot drive by car through the small streets.
The house has got a real particular character, I personally like it a lot. It’s a modern house with an antique character: with stones, balks, open air places, wood stove with chimney. The pavement of the balcony is still antique, out of old stones and wood.
Unfortunately I couldn’t well see the apartment when I visited it because it was occupied and I couldn’t make better pictures.
Animals are not allowed because the owner is allergic.
You shouldn’t forget that Bassano is situated very distant, surrounded by nature. It is situated only 4 km from the lake and the village of Tronzano, where you can find a small grocery shop and a bar.
